Key Features & Premium Construction

• Solid Oak & Precision Veneer Blend: Hand-assembled utilizing solid oak timber for critical load-bearing legs, corners, and perimeter framing, paired with balanced oak veneers across broad exterior surfaces to prevent timber movement, cracking, or seasonal warping under varying climates.
• Streamlined 320mm Platform Profile: Designed with an ergonomic 320mm deck height, offering a modern, low-profile stance that pairs cleanly with any wall-mounted headboard or floats independently for an open, airy bedroom aesthetic.
• Heavy-Duty Silent Slat Support: Fitted with reinforced solid timber mattress support slats engineered to provide balanced spinal alignment, promote optimal mattress ventilation, and eliminate squeaking or motion transfer.
• Modular Split King Design: King (1920mm x 2000mm) and King XL (1920mm x 2100mm) configurations are expertly constructed as two independent matching single bases that latch securely together, ensuring effortless navigation through narrow doorways, corridors, and stairwells without compromising stability.
• Versatile Protective Finishes: Choose between a hard-wearing clear varnish that shields the timber against daily scuffs and marks while deepening grain contrast, or an artisanal Rubio Monocoat treatment that delivers a raw, tactile, light matte appearance celebrating natural pale blonde oak tones.

Use the Loft Oak Bed Base as an understated standalone minimalist platform, or pair it with an existing wall-mounted or freestanding timber headboard. Its neutral golden oak tones harmonize effortlessly with dark green, peach, or soft cream accent walls, natural wool rugs, and crisp neutral linen bedding.

Care & Maintenance:

• Dust timber weekly using a clean, soft lint-free microfiber cloth.
• Wipe clean with a slightly damp cloth when necessary and buff completely dry immediately with a clean towel; for Monocoat finishes, refresh the protective seal periodically with recommended wood soaps.
• Nourish varnished oak periodically with a quality wood furniture cream or oil to preserve its smooth luster.
• Position away from direct heating appliances and avoid prolonged exposure to harsh UV sunlight.
