Scaled with a generous 600mm width and 450mm depth, this premium nightstand provides an expansive surface for designer table lamps, carafe sets, and personal decor without overwhelming bedside walkways. Handcrafted in South Africa by master cabinetmakers, this piece highlights the celebrated golden character, enduring structural strength, and tactile grain textures of genuine oak wood.

Key Features & Premium Construction

• Multi-Tier Functional Storage: Thoughtfully engineered with three distinct storage zones—an extendable slide-out tray for morning coffee or bedtime tea, an open cubby shelf to keep current reading books or tablets within easy reach, and two deep lower drawers for concealed bedside essentials.
• Discreet Pull-Out Extension Tray: Located just beneath the top surface, this smooth-gliding timber tray extends your usable bedside surface area when needed and tucks completely flush when closed.
• Solid Oak & Precision Veneer Blend: Hand-assembled utilizing solid oak timber for structural legs, top surface borders, and drawer face framing, paired with balanced oak veneers across internal side panels and drawer boxes to eliminate seasonal timber checking, cracking, or warping under fluctuating bedroom temperatures.
• Custom Protective Timber Finishes: Select between a hard-wearing clear varnish that enriches the timber’s golden honey depth and warmth, or an artisanal Monocoated finish that delivers a raw, tactile, light wood matt appearance.
• Heavy-Duty Smooth Gliding Action: Both drawers operate on durable, smooth-glide runners engineered for effortless daily access, quiet operation, and lasting alignment.
• Cohesive Suite Pairing: Designed to coordinate effortlessly with our Sleigh Mahogany/Oak Headboards, Panama Oak Blanket Boxes, Geo Oak Headboards, and solid oak dressers for a unified, serene bedroom sanctuary.

Styling & Bedroom Placement Ideas

Flank your bed with a matching pair of Sleigh Oak Pedestals set against a rich dark green, soft peach, deep navy, charcoal, or warm mocha feature wall to let the pale golden oak tones stand out in warm contrast. Style the top surface with a ceramic or linen-shaded bedside lamp and a small stoneware vase. Use the open shelf to stack art books or magazines, and layer the bed with crisp neutral linen bedding and textured waffle throws for a calm, boutique-hotel retreat.

Care & Maintenance:

• Dust timber surfaces and drawer fronts weekly using a clean, soft dry microfiber cloth.
• Wipe clean with a slightly damp cloth when necessary and buff dry immediately with a clean towel.
• For Monocoated timber surfaces, refresh periodically with recommended nourishing wood soaps to preserve the protective matte barrier.
• Always use a coaster under hot mugs or water glasses on the pull-out tray and top surface to prevent liquid rings.
• Avoid dragging abrasive objects across surfaces, keep clear of direct heat sources, and shield from harsh, prolonged UV sunlight.
